FYRSTIKKALLEEN

Fyrstikkalléen 1 consists of three sculptural buildings connected with bridges at strategic levels. The buildings, with a total volume of 40,000 square meters and heights ranging from seven to ten floors, are joined at the ground floor with a common reception, restaurant and atrium. Characterized by angled corners to maximize daylight levels in between the buildings while simultaneously allowing for lines of sight out to the surroundings.

The project focuses on sustainable design and is designed to energy class A specifications, achieving a BREEAM excellent rating. Another focus area is allowing for flexibility – in order to accommodate evolving trends in office layout. Communication, collaboration and random social encounters are essential themes here.

The lighting solution is technically and energy efficient, with a majority of Multilume Slim and Pleiad EVO.

 "The idea was that the basic lighting in the office areas should be good and efficient, and then one should rather spend more money on lighting in entrances, social zones, canteens, meeting rooms, etc. In the tenants' contract, they had a given number of hours with an interior designer. This made it much easier for us to create a common concept for the whole building."

Fagerhult worked closely with PowerTech, Rejlers, and Vedal. Both PowerTech and Vedal were very pleased with the result. They looked forward to the final inspections and gave feedback that they received a lot of praise from tenants and others who came by to see the project. This has resulted in Vedal, Rejlers, PowerTech and Fagerhult collaborating on the project Stortorget 7.
