MACMILLAN PALLIATIVE CARE UNIT

Fagerhult was tasked with delivering a holistic lighting design concept that met the needs of both those working in the hospital and the patients.

Products were carefully chosen for their technical capability to meet the guidelines for the hospital and for their ability to create a soft ambient light that was also pleasing for occupants. Part of the design process involved producing a series of mood boards for each of the areas which was reviewed with KKE Architects.

Balancing the need for the lighting design to be functional for the clinical environment while creating a sense of calm and safety for residents was achieved by using a range of products from the Fagerhult Groups’ portfolio.
