Hospital Nova, a new and modern hospital in Central Finland, opened its doors in 2021. This 113 000 m2 project is among the largest hospital projects in Finland.
With the planned lifespan of 100 years, lighting plays an important role in terms of health, safety and energy efficiency. About 75% of Hospital Nova’s approximately 22,000 luminaires came from Fagerhult. The premises lit with Fagerhult include the hospital's patient rooms, corridors, operating rooms, imaging rooms, family rooms, clean rooms, study rooms, medicine rooms, stairs, psychiatric wards, waiting rooms and outdoor canopies.
“In projects of this magnitude, everything depends on time management, trust and teamwork between designers, the control organization, contractors and product suppliers. We did extremely well together. ”
