For us, ReLight is about utilising and refining existing luminaires – and giving them the same high quality and good lighting comfort as new ones. We also strive to reduce the climate impact and lower the costs of your project. By adding new LEDs and intuitive lighting control from Organic Response, you save energy and can adapt lighting to the needs of the business.
ReLight
ReLight is a circular initiative focusing on reuse by using end-of-life luminaires and materials. By adding new technology and extending the life of the luminaire – we can together take your lighting solutions into the future.
A complete kit
For eighty years, we have been working to develop new solutions, refine ideas, and utilise our resources. Each new initiative begins with a first step, and your ReLight project starts by reaching out to your contact person at Fagerhult. The process then depends on whether there is a complete kit for your luminaire or if we need to develop a new solution based on documentation and according to your preferences. No matter the path your project takes, the end result is a complete kit ready to update your old luminaires.
CE marking and 5-year warranty
No matter if you are reusing a luminaire with a complete kit or we are working on a new solution, the highest level of quality is achieved. We are certified by Intertek and all tests are done in our Product Laboratory. The reused luminaire is CE marked and has a five-year warranty.
Like a new Fagerhult luminaire
In every ReLight project, we ensure that your reused luminaire achieves the highest quality, increases energy efficiency, and provides the same good light comfort as one of our newly manufactured luminaires. This is true no matter if it is a ReLight of a Fagerhult luminaire or another brand.
STANDARD KIT
Notor and DTI – ready for ReLight
For a large part of the luminaires in the DTI and Notor families, there are standard kits ready for your project. You can easily configure them yourself in our configurator.
The luminaire body and the components that have the right quality are reused, and we add new technology and optics – as well as smart lighting via Organic Response if you opt for it. All kits have snap-in connectors, which allows you to update your project quickly and easily. The installation must be performed by a certified installer.
Smart lighting control from the start
For luminaires where it is technically possible, you can add a sensor for smart lighting control from Organic Response. It provides good lighting comfort, saves energy, and makes lighting smarter and more flexible.
CE marked all-in-one solution
The complete kit comes fully equipped with new light source, driver pack, and adapted louvre – and everything you need for simple installation. For each project, we ensure the light quality and measure the efficiency of the new luminaire. We can also calculate its total climate impact. The new luminaire is then CE marked in the same way as if it were a completely newly manufactured Fagerhult luminaire.
Reuse plastic details
Older plastic details risk becoming brittle and losing their properties over time. To ensure the continued quality of the reused luminaire, we conduct a thorough analysis of the materials and replace those that do not maintain the right level.
Clear instructions
Each project includes clear instructions on how to dismantle the luminaire, which parts to keep and which ones to recycle, and how to assemble the new solution.
Safe and easy installation
All kits include snap-in connectors, for safe and easy on-site installation in your project. All attachments needed for the installation of the new solution are included. The installation must be performed by a certified installer.
Reuse of luminaire bodies
Reusing the luminaire body is an essential element of ReLight. These are generally made of metal, and using an existing material is a more sustainable option than producing a new one.
