Fabian

Fabian is a subtle retro design, which is closely associated with Fagerhult's innovative heritage. When launched in 1969 Fabian was Sweden’s – maybe even the worlds – ever first fitting made of plastic. It was a huge success and sold over 4 million copies. Fabian was the subject of a slight facelift in 2015, albeit with the familiar chubby lines, and offers the very latest in lighting technology.

The plastic shade has been replaced with shades in opaque glass or lacquered steel. Fabian is now produced as a pendant version which is perfect for ambient lighting in various settings – from offices to cafes, bars and hotels.

The vast range of choices makes it easy to adapt Fabian to different interior design themes. The luminaire is available in five standard versions, but more colours are available on request.

True to its heritage, the reborn Fabian has also been updated with the latest technology: a superefficient, dimmable and long-life LED light source. A child of its time!
